a small part of me (a very small part) wanted to scrounge up $35k to purchase a plate at that tyler perry charity dinner that he recently held in atlanta. the main reason would be to go in and see how flamboyantly gay his house is. i’m pretty sure my first conversation with him would be like, “tyler you have a lovely home—but who is this half naked man reclined in the corner feeding you grapes?”
for auld lang syne roughly translated means “long time since” it’s the perfect song for the passing of an old year…urging us to call to mind lost loves and loved ones so that they’re with us in part in the new year. i hope 2012 is a great year for everyone and i wish you and yours the best.

i have not been to a braves game in a good while and i really miss it. i wanted to get tickets on my own in a desperate albeit semi-futile attempt to rekindle the fire i once had for the braves that is now lost. however, i realize that i don’t want to see the current braves team, i want to see the team from the 2001 braves roster—the players that i grew up with—greats such as Smoltz, Glavine, Chipper, Andruw and Furcal. i want my nostalgic braves team.
